While attending Gordon College she experienced severe neck pain due to a whiplash accident. After a great deal of encouragement, Dr. Genia went to a Chiropractor. Once nerve interference was removed, problems that had plagued her for years started to slowly disappear. After discovering the power of chiropractic, she decided to undertake the challenge of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Genia graduated from Life University in June of 1999. She elected to start her practice in Clayton County because many of her patients and friends reside in this growing community.

What sets Dr. Genia apart from other chiropractors is that she specializes in Neuro-Muscular Therapy.  This trigger point therapy is like no other.  It usually last 30 minutes longer than most chiropractors!!  Come experience this unique therapy.  Call our office TODAY!

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a philosophy, science, and art of correcting spinal misalignments that create nerve interference. Chiropractic utilizes our own body's natural healing ability to restore and maintain health. Chiropractors do not prescribe drugs or perform surgery. Our purpose is to find the cause of a the problem and remove it, so your body can function at a much higher and more efficient level. Everything that occurs in the body is a result of a message being sent from our brain to our spinal cord and out to peripheral nerves. These peripheral nerves tell our organs, tissues, cells, muscles and all other bodily functions what to do. If there is nerve interference occuring anywhere in the body, then our main conduction system cannot do its job properly. Chiropractic is the practice of locating these areas of nerve interference and correcting them, so the body can heal itself.
